Please use that thing that used to be on the hall table to call me as E,mails weren’t even thought about when this van was produced and was driving round country lanes making deliveries to local shops ,if the driver got lost he would find the nearest red telephone box to get directions plus a human being would immediately pick up the phone and politely answer in there best BBC voice there were no traffic jams , no motorways and nobody got killed on smart motorways .
Although the vehicles then may have only reached around 50 mph they got there quicker as we are now lucky to average 20 mph with speed restrictions , pot holes ,road works ,also what happened to the Sunday afternoon drivers they have been replaced by boy racers and speed bumps , The most ironical thing is NOW 20 somethings are driving Lamborghinis and are lucky if they can drive more than fifty miles per hour on our roads well I suppose that’s progress ???
